How it works
From first enquiry to a live website.
You see a homepage design for your business before you pay anything. Here is each stage in detail.
What you tell us
A short enquiry form, which takes about three minutes. We ask for:
- your business name and what the business does;
- the area you cover;
- your name and email address;
- optionally, a phone number, your existing website address, and a logo or photos (up to five images).
We do not ask for a card or any payment details at this stage.
The free homepage preview
We create a homepage design around your real business and send it to you. You do not pay to request or see it, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
The preview belongs to WebAmber until you subscribe. If you decide not to go ahead, please do not copy or reuse it.
Feedback and refinements
You can ask for reasonable refinements while we agree the direction. If you do not like the direction, you do not subscribe and you owe nothing.
Choosing a plan and first payment
If you like the design, you choose Starter (£9.99), Business (£19.99) or Pro (£29.99) a month. There is no setup fee.
The first payment is taken only after you have seen the design, decided to go ahead and the project moves into build and launch. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Build, domain and launch
We finish the website, connect your domain and put it online.
A standard .co.uk domain is included with your subscription. Subject to availability. Premium domains excluded. The domain remains yours. Already have one? We'll connect it. No separate domain renewal bill while your subscription is active.
After launch
Hosting, SSL, security and technical maintenance are included, so you do not need to manage them. If something needs fixing or you have a question, you contact the developer who works on your website.
Occasional small content updates are included. Larger changes, new sections, new pages, redesign work, integrations or new functionality may be quoted separately.
Cancelling and ownership
You can cancel at any time. The site stays live until the end of the period you've paid for. Your domain remains yours to point wherever you like, and from then on you would renew it yourself.
Your business name, logo, text, photos and domain stay yours. The website itself is provided as part of the managed subscription. If you want to move the complete site elsewhere, a source-code buyout option will be available at a clearly agreed price. The details will be confirmed before you subscribe. Read the full terms.
